Penns Personnel are delighted to be assisting our prestigious Software Development client in their search for an Office Manager/EA. 

You will have a major role in overseeing the efficient functioning of our new office environment and play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining office operations, fostering a positive work environment and supporting various administrative functions, including the provision of high-level support to the three Directors and where required, other members of the senior team.

You are responsible for fully understanding the functioning of the office environment, the needs of the Directors and, managing the administration of the office, optimising and prioritising time, improving and managing workflow and productivity aligned to business priorities.

Significant, proven experience as an Office Manager, Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting senior executives and or leadership teams, you will also have proven experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experienced in the development and implementation of new systems and processes to support operational efficiency, you will ideally have some experience working in a technology or software-based organisation.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will display exceptional project management, organisational and multitasking skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software is essential.

Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure; have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills along with a positive attitude and ability to influence across teams to achieve company goals is crucial. Extremely organised, methodical and self-disciplined, you will also be extremely efficient, able to make speedy decisions and work through tasks at pace.  This role also calls for a level-headed demeanour, with the ability to maintain calm under pressure.  A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment along with proficiency in the use of MS Office applications is a must. Understanding of and interest in technology and IT support solutions would be advantageous.
