Client Relationship Executive

Our client – one of the most recognisable and respected global organisations with over 8,000 members working in over 80 countries around the world – is seeking applications for this position to support its Commercial team in generating new and retaining existing Partner relationships.

Based near Sutton Coldfield, you will support the Executive Director – Commercial and our Partnership Managers to build and retain effective relationships and ensure all obligations to our Partners are fulfilled whilst continually monitoring and addressing issues to ensure effective levels of customer satisfaction.

You will: 

  • Monitor activity to ensure the flawless fulfilment of assets and delivery of license agreements/contractual obligations to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
    • In collaboration with each Partner, develop a year-long marketing/activation plan.
    • Work with the Media team to promote advertising sales.
  • Build knowledge of designated Partner’s business category (competitor activity, brand immersion, trends etc.)
  • Relationship ownership: ensure the Commercial team remains the main point of contact for designated Partners while ensuring other internal departments expertise is used at appropriate times (communications, media team, etc.)
  • Measurement/reporting: Continuously track and deliver post-campaign evaluations on Partner’s activation.
    • Utilise data and insights to continually improve Partnership offering.
    • Produce a range of documentation and collateral, including drafting proposals, presentations, and marketing material.
  • Actively sharing information and best practices with other members of the Commercial team.
  • Developing an environment of exceptional service and exploring opportunities for continual development.
  • Building detailed knowledge of Partner business to help drive mutually beneficial marketing initiatives and storytelling through The PGA marketing channels.
  • Support the activities of our Commercial Partner ‘Community’ Strategy; Provide high level support to the Head of Commercial:

You will need:

  • Relevant experience of providing account/project management support (preferably for or on behalf of brands)
  • Experience in supporting the planning and implementation of Partnership related activation programs
  • Some experience in coordinating, interpreting and delivering against Partner/ brand related contracts
  • An understanding of brand marketing gained through supporting campaigns across media channels – specifically digital and social media
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite including CRM or equivalent database.
  • Knowledge of the golf industry
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build and retain excellent relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to effectively grasp customer needs, create and develop marketing plans
  • Ability to create and deliver “community” communications
  • Organised with good attention to detail whilst managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexible approach, being quickly and effectively able to adapt to change
  • Excellent team player, supporting whenever necessary
  • Ability to understand the demands and needs of the industry and the business
  • Results orientated
  • Effective and natural communicator

  • Ability to analyse potentially complex scenarios & produce pragmatic reports/solutions
