Penns Personnel are delighted to be recruiting a Commercial and Finance Assistant for a valued client based close to Castle Bromwich, to cover maternity for up to 12 months. The successful candidate will work with the commercial, technical, operations and finance departments to provide comprehensive support within a busy, forward thinking organisation.
This role would suit a graduate or an experienced administrator with an automotive or construction back ground.
Responding to customers, preparing data folders, drawings and project control documents for new project enquiries prior to quote generation.
Generating quotes, updating sales plots to company databases for tracking through to completion.
Dealing with customers and staff to ensure all data and drawings are up to date throughout the project’s life cycle.
Process sales orders, production sheets, agency time sheets and sales invoices.
Achieving weekly and monthly deadlines in all transactional areas.
The Ideal Candidate
Organised, logical and methodical in approach to achieving tasks and objectives.
Conscientious with an eye for details.
Able to identify a problem and use initiative to provide a solutions.
Flexible and organise to be able to cope with multiple tasks and priorities in a fast moving environment.
Ideally have experience or exposure to technical drawings.
Excellent IT skills including excel and word
Strong mathematical ability
This role is covering maternity and will commence March 2021 to enable a handover with the current job holder. There will be office based training as well as working from home.
Hours are 8.30 am – 4.30 pm Mon to Fri.
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum
