Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

As an Account Manager you will:

  • Manage and nurture key client relationships.
  • Implement innovative strategies to grow their footprint in the healthcare sector.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Have a direct impact on the success and direction of their expansion.
  • Maintain Strong commercial relationships with clients
  • Responsible for generating new prospects and leads
  • Managing and retaining existing business
  • Ensure that business proposals meet service needs
  • Be responsive and proactive in order to address any requests or service issues
  • Act as first point of contact for all enquiries
  • Managing own workflow by assigning tasks and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Maintain budgetary controls

The ideal candidate will have an analytical nature and a strong eye for detail and be able to put customers needs and expectations first. Be a strong written and verbal communicator. You must be motivated and have experience of working to targets and deadlines. Providing excellent customer service to clients, be passionate and energetic, with the ability to prioritise your day.

Skills required:

·         Demonstrate strong  organisational skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Be proactive and able to make decisions where appropriate

·         Have the ability to plan and anticipate potential problems

·         Willingness to learn in a constant changing environment

·         Experience of budget drafting and control

·         Ability to work independently with limited oversight

Desirable Experience required:

·         5 years + experience in an NHS operations role

·         5 years + experience working with NHS clinical workforce

·         Experience in procurement and contract management within healthcare
